Privacy policy

Last updated 11 October 2026

Ads Mate ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through adsmate.com.au, why we collect it and how we look after it.

What we collect

When you fill in a form on this website we collect the details you give us, such as your name, phone number, email address, business type, website and town. We also record which page you were on and, where available, the advertising campaign that brought you to the site.

Like most websites, we may use tools such as Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, which use cookies to understand how visitors use the site and to measure and improve our advertising. These tools collect information such as pages visited, device and browser type and approximate location.

Optional Microsoft Clarity analytics

We use Microsoft Clarity only after you choose Accept in the optional analytics notice. It helps us understand page interactions, such as clicks and scrolling, using heatmaps and masked session recordings. Clarity may process page addresses, referring pages, device and browser information, approximate location and cookie identifiers. Microsoft processes this information and may store it outside Australia. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

We mask the entire page body and every form for Clarity, including form inputs. This installation does not send enquiry values, names, email addresses or phone numbers to Clarity through custom events or identity calls. Thank-you and error pages are excluded, as are private or unrecognised routes and potentially sensitive URL information. Masking reduces exposure; it does not make all analytics data anonymous.

After opt-in, Clarity may process public page URLs containing recognised campaign parameters: only fixed, reviewed utm_source and utm_medium values are permitted. On this site, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term are excluded because no specific values have been reviewed. A fbclid with the reviewed Facebook click-ID format may also be present; this is an advertising identifier, not anonymous data. The same checks apply to same-origin referring pages. External referring pages remain limited to root addresses without a query or fragment. Unknown or duplicate query keys, unreviewed campaign values, contact information, credentials, private or unrecognised paths or fragments, and gclid keep Clarity off. These exclusions can reduce analytics coverage. We do not rewrite visitor URLs, referring addresses or enquiry attribution to enable analytics.

Clarity does not load before your opt-in. Choose Not now to leave it off; you can still use the site and send an enquiry. We respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals by keeping Clarity off even if a previous choice was Accept. Your choice is saved in this browser's local storage under am_clarity_consent_v1. If storage is unavailable, your choice applies to the current page only and Clarity remains off on later pages unless you accept again.

After accepting, Clarity may use its _clck and _clsk first-party cookies. This installation grants analytics storage only and sends a denied advertising-storage consent signal. The Clarity controls do not change any separate advertising or analytics tools on this site.

Open the persistent Privacy controls button to change your choice. To withdraw consent, choose Not now. We send a denied consent signal, stop Clarity, clear its _clck and _clsk cookies on this site, and reload the page with Clarity off. Save any unfinished form text before withdrawing, because reloading may clear it. Withdrawal stops future collection on this browser; it does not automatically erase information already processed by Microsoft. You can also clear this site's stored data in your browser settings.
