Quiet Tuesdays to fully booked weeks
The salon had a loyal client base but too many quiet mid-week days. We started with research into why their best clients chose them, then ran Facebook and Instagram ads to locals built around it.
Every business on this page is a real Ads Mate client. Campaign numbers come straight from their ad accounts and enquiry records, with names kept private where the client asked.

Earthmoving jobs are high value, so lead quality matters more than lead volume. The campaign was built to attract people with a real job to do, and it shows in the close rate.
After 40 days of ads the business was booked out for three months, so they paused the campaign. A good problem to have, and the reason we always ask about capacity first.
A campaign to fill a course intake. Enquiries were invited to a campus tour, which is where most enrolment decisions get made.
Most local businesses don't need more "marketing". They need the pieces joined up: a website that sells, a clear offer, ads that reach the right people and follow-up that doesn't let enquiries go cold. Here's what that looked like for some of the businesses we've worked with recently.
A great product with a real story, spray-free and grown in living soil, but nowhere online to tell it, take orders or handle wholesale enquiries.
Local growers had the produce and locals wanted it, but there was no simple way to connect the two.
A remote range with no mobile reception, where people turning up without a booking and the same questions by email cost the volunteers time.
An owner-run cleaning business that needed to look as professional online as their work is in person, and win property managers, not just one-off cleans.
Recent work with local businesses including
The businesses are very different: a salon, an excavation company, a concreter and a training college. The results came from the same four habits.
Cost per click and likes don't pay wages. We track cost per enquiry, and wherever we can, cost per booking, job or enrolment. The training college spent about $77 per enquiry, which sounds high until you see that three enrolments were worth $55,500. That's roughly $27 in enrolment revenue for every $1 of ad spend.
Good ads can't rescue a vague offer. Each campaign gave the right person a clear, specific reason to get in touch now, written from research into why their best customers chose them.
A lead that waits a day is half a lead. The excavation business converts about one in three leads into paying work because enquiries get a quick reply and the right questions.
The concreter was booked out for three months after 40 days and had to pause ads. That's a great outcome, but it's also why we ask how much work you can handle before we launch. Running ads you have to switch off is wasted momentum.
A note on results. Past results don't guarantee future ones. Cost per lead changes with your industry, area, season, offer and how quickly you respond. The free audit gives you an honest view of what's realistic for your business.
